1. Apriori Algorithm

Analyze order data to find frequently bought-together SKUs.

Lower values find more relationships but may include spurious ones.
2. Demand Forecasting

Forecast future demand for SKUs to guide stock replenishment.

Number of days of historical data to use for forecasting.
If checked, will consider all order data regardless of date. If unchecked, will only consider orders within the specified days.
3. Space Optimization

Optimize the allocation of SKUs to shelves and bins.

Minimum days of stock to maintain for each product.

Analysis Workflow
  1. Run Apriori first to identify product relationships.
  2. Run Demand Forecasting to predict demand for each product.
  3. Run Space Optimization to allocate products to shelves based on relationships and forecast.
The enhanced optimization algorithm:
  • Prioritizes co-purchased SKUs to be placed together
  • Never places the same SKU on both front and back of the same shelf
  • Ensures minimum days of stock are available for each product
  • Can be configured to fill a specific percentage of the warehouse
